Kathryn I totally understand how worried you are about missing your appointments. I really hope your therapist is able to continue to see you even with the new policy. Practices need to be more understanding of how difficult it can be for us sometimes.

I am so glad to have all of the information that you have shared! This one helped as I have been having such a rough time lately. I seem to have phases of constant mistakes with my calendar and this time I seem to have lost my personality. It scares me still. I feel that no one understands because I hear a lot of, "Oh we're all getting older or we all make mistakes". That only frustrates me more! I have the support of an amazing therapist Becky and she just told me that her facility has a new policy on missing or canceling late. I am petrified! I showed up an hour early the week before last and completely missed two appointments in one day last week. I looked at the calendar, looked at the portals and have done all I can to make sure of the time and dates! BUT something is missing with me! I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. My kids are way too busy to babysit me and I am panicked that I will mess up with my amazing therapist! Anyway I just wanted to tell you that your blog has made me feel better about so many things. And made sense of so many mysteries! Thank you a million times over!

Thank you so much for this! I have been telling people for years now that I can't count. And I can't use a clock, calendar or money in the proper manner. But I couldn't explain myself. Everyone just says Oh that happens to me too! UGH!! I am so frustrated by the problems that I have but even more so by the lack of understanding from others.

My family more so than anyone else! I feel their shame of me and they try to hide it. But I am better about it than I was a few months ago so I am making progress. I actually hope to make a blog about TBI from Domestic Violence and with CPTSD. I really could use any help I can get!

But thank you for this blog! It has made me feel like there are people that get me! Thank you Thank you!
