Yeh, you did well!

My wife and I came up with a great idea. Although our dog is nothing more than a “comfort”, when we stayed in the UK, we stuck a “Service Dog” harness on her and every cafe, restaurant, museum, you name it! They let her in. Was lovely to have a dog with us the whole way and everyone treated you like you were something special.

When we were asked, what “type” of service dog she was, we just said she’d been trained to deal with epilepsy, and hey ho, they were all over her and paving the way for us everywhere we went!

All things considered, you did ok. I only wear shorts around the house. My cat is not that fussy what my legs look like just as long as I still feed her. I have only had 2 very short get aways for a few nights in the last few years. Family not present. Carers were provided and the other 7 disabled people, (half in wheelchairs)much higher beds than myself became a temporary family. Polite, respectful and just happy to make sure we all had a nice time. This year? Not even going home for Christmas…….so. Yes, you did fine.
